Expertise

He is legal advisor to national and foreign companies domiciled in Colombia, as well as to well-known Colombian personalities. He also represents and provides comprehensive advice to several international companies in the energy sector. He has designed innovative estate planning schemes for families and corporations. His expertise as a trial lawyer and litigator was forged working with important treatises such as Hernando Devis Echandía and Hernán Fabio López Blanco. He has been a member of the Colombian Institute of Procedural Law.

Academy

Ph.D. in Law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. He was a professor of Civil Law and Procedural Law at the Universidad de los Andes (1981 to 1999) and at the Universidad Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario (1982 to 1997).
